The neoprene strap wraps around the thumb CMC joint and the first metacarpal to provide direct support for the CMC joint.
This product is designed specifically for individuals with osteoarthritis and medial subluxation of the thumb CMC joint. It is suitable for the right hand and comes in a medium size, which fits MCP circumferences measuring 7" - 8".
The reinforced stitching allows for trimming of the splint below the thumb MP joint if desired.
The material used is thin, measuring 1/16" (1.6mm), and is perforated neoprene. It also has a terry cloth liner, which promotes a cool and comfortable sensation on the skin.
The product does not contain natural rubber latex.
