• LIMITS MOBILITY - allowing for gripping and grasping of thumb and forefinger, while also providing compression for swelling and stiffness from osteoarthritis and thumb joint inflammation.
• VARIOUS SIZES FOR A CUSTOMIZED FIT - providing gentle compression throughout the hand and wrist while maintaining full finger function. IMPORTANT - Follow measuring instructions for a proper fit (refer to instructional video and chart in the images). Choose plus sizes for a half size larger in the hand and a full size bigger in thumb circumference for enlarged thumbs. Size up to the next size if in between sizes. If desired, the splint can be trimmed below the MP Joint.
• COMFORTABLE DESIGN - Edges of thumb splint that come into contact with the skin have minimal stitching or excess bulky material for a softer, gentler contact with the skin to help prevent skin irritation.
• CAREFULLY CRAFTED - from thin, 1/16" (1.6mm) lightweight perforated neoprene with a soft terry cloth liner for comfort and to absorb excess moisture. Does not contain natural rubber latex. Washing instructions – Hand wash in cool water with mild detergent and air dry.
